I came in for a walk in for a re-fill for my nails and toes and this time I wanted a change of colour and shape, it was very specific as well. I was asked if I could come back later and the staff was able to fit me into their busy day, that was very nice of them!. I had my toes does and very satisfied with the colour, then my nails were done by Solida, she did exactly what I was asking for and even better! I am so happy and just love my nails! I’ve posted a pic of what I wanted (left) and what I got (right). Amazing!!!

My experience: Went in for acrylic overlay on my short nails- did not want tips for extension as I do not want to compromise my thin nails. I called in prior to book my appt and briefly explained the service I wanted only to arrive and wait 15-20 minutes (which was cool for me) and when one of the ladies got to me, she refused service because she was inexperienced to perform a simple short-length acrylic overlay on my nails. Not only her but the whole crew stayed mute and could not even console my frustration. I can take a service refusal however when you confirm with me over the phone and have me come out of my way to get to your establishment only for you to give a slap on the face is where I have such lack of respect for these so called nail technicians in these ottawa chop shops!! These shops are supposed to be here for convenience and luxury for some of us. Kmt

This was my first time coming here as it was recommended to me. I am very particular with my nails as im spending money on them to look the way I asked for. Everything was OK in the beginning. I had mentioned multiple times that my nails were crooked. It was not fixed. By the ending, I had acrylic all over my skin, I had to come home and clean up my own fingers and try to file it so it looked decent. My thumb is covered in sparkles when its suppose to be just a white tip. And my nails aren't even the same length as the other hand. I asked for my nails to be fixed and was told it was just my fingers and the design. I dont even have a design! Really hope that I can have a better experience if I decide to go back. $ 110 for nails I have to fix myself.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience here was extremely frustrating. I got my nails done on September 23 for a trip, and by the end of the week, the shellac started chipping—something I've never encountered before. When I returned on October 2 to show them the issue, they insisted I hadn’t gotten my nails done there. After some back and forth, they agreed to fix them the next day. Next day, the same lady who had initially done my nails rudely denied ever doing them. I pulled up my call log to show proof of my appointment, and she reluctantly started the fix. I originally had a matte finish, but they suggested a shiny one instead, which I agreed to. Throughout the process, the technician seemed visibly annoyed, and the new paint was applied poorly, with noticeable bumps. She also mixed up which nails she had applied the new coat to. To my disappointment, my nails started chipping again just a week later. I won’t be returning to this rude establishment.

We had our appt on august 17, saturday. We were a group of 3 and although 2 of us were taken care very nicely, one us had a horrible experience. For the two of us, we did shellac and both our nail technicians were very polite, sweet and caring. I was there thinking that this is the spot! This will be my go to nails place from now onwards as I loved how well we are treated and how beautiful our nails looked! So i am thankful to our technicians who were not only great at their job but also provided excellent customer service :) Now coming on to my third friend who was there for an acrylic refill. First of all, she was charged for a full set instead of a refill. Second, her experience was totally opposite from what we had. Her nail technician was rude and did a bad job with her nails. I will attach pictures. She wanted her nails to be a little short to which the person dug into her skin and left some little wounds that were hurting for the next couple of days. In the pictures the wounds are healed as I saw her today and made her give me the photos (she is too nice and accepted her fate and even paid the full price). Her nail tech was an older lady with thick microbladed eyebrows I believe. Her name is Nguon Ly as it says on the receipt. We would love to come back to this place but do not recommend her. All the other nails techs were amazing! Super sweet! My friend does not want to go back to this place, wish she had a better experience so we could be regulars! But oh well! Reply to the the owners: thank you Solida for the quick response. This is very professional of you. I will pass on the message to my friend :) and I will change my rating to 4 stars because it is not fair to the others who work so hard <3
